Kumbh Vivah is a combination of two Sanskrit words, Kumbha means earthen pot, and Vivah means marriage. It is conducted for the Mangliks Boy or Girl for prosperity and happiness of married life. Kumbh marriage is related to Manglik Dosh in the one’s Kundli Birth Chart. If Mars is sitting in the 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th, 12th house in the horoscope, then the sight of Mars falls on the 7th house of the horoscope. The 7th house in the horoscope belongs to the wife or spouse. The position of the 7th house is considered for marriage. If the effect or part of Mars (Mangal) is on the seventh house, then Manglik Dosh is formed. Whether there is a Manglik Yog or not will be known only after studying Mars position in kundli. It can be found in the horoscopes of forty percent, and it’s called Yog Kaal (period). If seen in this way, then the percentage of Manglik will come straight from forty percent to ten or twelve percent. Even if you are suffering from negative effects of Mars or your first marriage is likely to fail, Kumbh Vivah can help.
There is very justified reasoning behind the marriage of Kumbh that if a girl has a combination of two marriages in her horoscope, then before marriage, the way a person is married by all rituals, in the same way by marrying an inanimate object, i.e., a pitcher (Pot Vessel) which gets broken after the Kumbh Vivah. In this way, when the girl gets married to a human, it will be considered as second marriage and not the first.
Kumbh marriages are only for those who have a Mangal Dosha in their horoscope. In North India, however, if the girl has Vaidhya Yoga and is born under Vishnu’s influence, her marriage will be to an idol of that God.
Kumbh Vivah, Vishnu Vivah, and Ashwatha vivahs are three options available for those whose horoscope has a Mangal Dosh defect. Kumbh marriage is when the bride marries with a pot that’s later broken. In Vishnu Vivah, the girls get married to Lord Vishu’s idol first then becomes his wife at home. While In Ashworth vivas (or ashta pradhaan), the groom worships Ganesha before getting married, so worries about being trapped by bad omens go away.
The treatment for Mangal Dosh, Vaidhya Dosh, or Vish Yog in a girl’s horoscope is Kumbh marriage. In the horoscope of a girl in whose horoscope Mars is in the seventh house with malefic planets, and the malefic planets in the seventh house see Mars in the seventh house, Vaidya karaka Arishta Yoga, such as Manglik Dosha or Vishkanya Dosha – in the scriptures for the happy marriage of a girl who is corrupted by all these. Marriage counseling is given. For a permanent married life, get married to Vishnu Roop Kumbh.
If either the bride or the bridegroom is a Manglik, then the girl should first be married to Lord Vishnu. When a girl gets married to Lord Shri Hari, many planetary severe defects in her birth chart are eliminated. After this, the second marriage of that girl can be done with another groom. This will make the life of both the bride and groom happy and prosperous.
According to Indian astrology, the seventh house in a horoscope represents marriage and therefore must be treated appropriately if there are any negative aspects. In many cases, the situation can be planets that may indicate difficulties with relationships or even divorce.
